Medium-form writing. This one’s about how to get burgled and then get your stuff back in North Philly. The Dangers of Skiing
Well, this is a sad post, but skiing is a dangerous sport and that is our topic today. There have been a number of skiing-related deaths since last weekend. There was a horrific “comedy of horrors” in Maine, a woman fell and slid to her death at Silverton, and two people died the other day near Aspen.
One of the two victims from Aspen marks this season’s first avalanche...

I mean, I’m generally a fan of planners giving cyclists the attention they need, but i’m having a hard time understanding this one. We seem to have more trouble with bikes in intersections when either cyclists or cars try too make a light that they can’t or (in Denver) get in a politer-than-thou situation where everyone is giving out right-of-way like candy at a Fourth of July...
