This has been a tough year in the mountains. There was another tragedy on Thursday when Nick Hall, a climbing ranger on Mt. Rainier and Patten, ME native, died after rescuing two climbers who had fallen into a crevasse. Sometimes our activities are dangerous. Be safe out there, everybody.

Car Goes Far
It’s hard to find new cars with manual transmissions. Luckily, it looks like my Honda might last for another several hundred thousand miles.
